Cookie policy
This policy explains which cookies Cortijo La Vega uses, who manages them, what they are for and how long they remain in your browser, in line with the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI) and the AEPD guide on the use of cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website sends to the user's browser to store information about the visit. They are used to make the site work properly and, with your permission, to offer additional features such as showing an interactive map.
Cookies used on this site
At Cortijo La Vega we use as few cookies as possible. The cookies present, or that may be loaded depending on your consent, are detailed below:
- Necessary cookies (always active): they do not require consent and allow the basic functioning of the site.
- cc_cookie — first-party, stores your cookie consent decision. Duration: 6 months.
- Authentication session — first-party (PocketBase), only if you log in to the admin panel. Duration: session.
- Marketing cookies (optional): loaded only if you accept this category. On this site they correspond to the Google Maps embed on the “How to get here” page.
- Google Maps cookies — third-party (Google), allow the interactive map to be shown. Duration: up to 2 years, according to Google's policy.
- Analytics cookies (optional): reserved for measuring traffic anonymously. This site does not currently load any analytics cookie; the category is kept in case one is added in the future.
How to give or withdraw consent
When you visit the site for the first time, a banner appears with three options: “Accept all”, “Reject” and “Configure”. Your choice is stored in the cc_cookie cookie for 6 months and the banner is not shown again while it remains valid.
You can change your decision at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens the preferences panel. You can also delete cookies already installed from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
